    Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
    Son of ‘Family Circus’ cartoonist Bil Keane
    Character animator for Walt Disney Animation Studios (1974-2012)
    Worked on the films ‘The Rescuers’ (1977), ‘Pete’s Dragon’ (1977), ‘The Fox and the Hound’ (1981), ‘The Great Mouse Detective’ (1985), ‘The Little Mermaid’ (1989), ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (1991), ‘Aladdin’ (1992), ‘Pocahontas’ (1995), ‘Tarzan’ (1999) and ‘Tangled’ (2010)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was the model for ‘Billy’ in ‘The Family Circus.’
    He originally planned to study fine arts at CalArts, but his application was accidentally sent to their new animation division.
    During a pre-Disney stint at Filmation, he had trouble adapting to their ‘limited animation’ style, prompting the studio head to tell him, ‘You know, Glen, you draw like a three-year-old.’

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was named a Disney Legend (2013).
    He won the Oscar for Best Animated Short Film for his collaboration with Kobe Bryant, ‘Dear Basketball.’ (2018)
    He wrote, ‘I am convinced that animation really is the ultimate art form of our time with endless new territories to explore.’
