Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname was 'Beast.'
    He recorded 248 penalty minutes during a single season in junior (1977-78)
    Other then his stint in Philadelphia, his tenures with teams lasted no more then three seasons.
    He was injury prone throughout his career.
    Despite the fact he served as a head coach in the junior ranks, many media outlets incorrectly listed Yaroslavl as his first head coaching job.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a solid two way defenseman throughout his career.
    He was paired with Ray Bourque, Mark Howe, Paul Coffey, Nicklas Lidstrom and Chris Pronger, which was instrumental in the development of their defensive game.
    He was a member of the Flames team that won their first Stanley Cup championship (1989).
    He was considered a character person with a lot of integrity by friends and family.
    Despite having offers from American Hockey League clubs, he opted to experience something different and accepted an offer from a Russian club.
