Why Weakest Link might be annoying:

Although the top prize was $1,000,000, the most money anybody ever won on the show was about $150,000.
Its popularity faded quickly.
It started the catch phrase, 'You are the weakest link, goodbye!'
It is most remembered for the hosts insulting the contestants.
The smartest contestants rarely ever won.
Towards the end of the NBC version's run, they had numerous 'celebrity editions' and theme episodes.

Why Weakest Link might not be annoying:

It was one of NBC's most popular shows at first, even topping 'Millionaire' at times.
It combined elements of 'Survivor' and 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire.'
George Gray was more playful with the contestants and was not as mean as Anne.
The questions were somewhat easy, you did not have to be a genius to win anything on there.
Reruns of the show air on GSN.
