    Appeared in the films ‘Who’s the Man’ (1993), ‘Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit’ (1993), ‘Panther’ (1995), ‘3 Strikes’ (2000), and ‘Paper Soldiers’ (2002)

Why she might be annoying:

    ‘You Can’t Play with My Yo-Yo’ was her only song to crossover to the pop Top 40.
    Her ‘Total Control’ album was pulled from the shelves after a lawsuit over uncleared samples.
    She dated Tupac.
    During taping of an episode of VH-1’s ‘Love and Hip Hop,’ she punched out former exotic dancer Apple Watts, leaving Watts with a black eye and busted lip (2019).

    She was originally into poetry, but was inspired to try rapping after hearing Roxanne Shante.
