Outfielder for the California Angels (1988-90), Milwaukee Brewers (1991-92), Colorado Rockies (1993-99), Cincinnati Reds (2000) and the Boston Red Sox (2000-01)
Silver Slugger Award winner (1995)

Why he might be annoying:

He was an inconsistent hitter.
Many baseball pundits credit his success with the Rockies as a result of Denver's higher altitude.
His production tailed off dramatically following his trade from the Rockies.
He was injury prone throughout the later stages of his career.
He was charged with domestic abuse after he hit his girlfriend, who was five months pregnant (1992).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of the inaugural Rockies roster (1993).
He was a fan favorite during his six seasons with the Rockies.
He hit the first Rockies home run in the history of Coors Field (a walk off homer in the 14th inning).
He ranked among the top ten Rockies franchise record for career home runs.
Following his retirement from baseball, he coached his son's little league team to a Little League World Series berth (2005).
