Why Bible might be annoying
It is full of gratuitous sex, violence and way too scary for children to read.
It is way too scary for adults to read.
Some claim Bible is an acronym for B-asic I-nstructions B-efore L-eaving E-arth.
It forms the circular argument that everything in the Bible must be true, because the Bible says it is true.
It is sexiest.
It is full of contradictions.
If it is the word of God, why would it need to be revised?
It opposes science and knowledge, especially evolution and astronomy.
It teaches intolerance to those who disagree or question its writing.
Even countries that claim separation of church and state, have their leaders sworn in with their hand on it.
Genesis claims the Sun was created on the fourth day, how did the Earth exist before the Sun? How were days counted with the Sun.
For something so important it should be clear and not need to be interpreted by religious leaders.
Why Bible might not be annoying
It is the best selling and most read book ever.
It features a super hero God and super villain Satan.
It is supplied for free in hotels and prisons.
It is an interesting and entertaining read.
It rivals Aesop's Fable for stories with morals.
It is the word of God.
It was made into blockbuster movies including the self-titled 'Bible' and The 'Ten Commandments.'
When Gutenberg invented the printing press, the bible was the first book he mass produced.
An autographed copy of it, would be priceless.
