The Resume

    (June 19, 1922-September 8, 2009)
    Born in Copenhagen, Denmark
    Nuclear physicist
Co-winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics for determining the structure of the atomic nucleus (1975)
Son of fellow physicist and Nobel laureate Niels Bohr

Why he might be annoying:

He worked on the Manhattan Project to develop the atomic bomb, which he would later euphemistically call 'the atomic energy project.'
He followed his father as director of the Niels Bohr Institute (1962-70).
He won the Nobel Prize for work that proved his father's model of the nucleus to be wrong.

Why he might not be annoying:

He liked classical music and played the piano.
He and his father escaped Nazi-occupied Denmark for Sweden (1943).
Since he earned a Nobel of his own, presumably he was chosen to run the Niels Bohr Institute based on more than just his name.
