    He was part of the Browns' reserve group and saw no action prior to the 1974 season.
    He led the NFL in throwing interceptions twice (1979, 1981).
    He badly injured his shoulder in a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers after helping the Browns win five out of their first 8 games (November 13, 1977).
    He did the Red Right 88 passing play as he tossed the ball that wound up being intercepted by Mike Davis of the Oakland RaidersBrowns to have an early playoff exit (January 4, 1981).
    During the 1983 season, he got into a negotiation with USFL's New Jersey Generals and pissed off the Browns management.
    He studied architecture at San Diego State University while he was the school's football star.
    He played for the winning baseball team of the 1961 Little League World Series.
    He performed many 4th quarter comeback game winning drives in 1979 and 1980.
    He got the 1980 Browns to be nicknamed the 'Kardiac Kids.'
    His excellent performance in the 1980 season earned him a Pro Bowl selection.
    He finished his NFL career with 23,713 passing yards and 154 passing touchdowns.
