Why she might be annoying:

    She planned to become a professional artist but abandoned the idea as 'too competitive.'
    Her first experience as a model was posing for a comic strip named 'Ramblin' Bill.'
    Though it was 'love at first sight,' she claims she had to bug her future husband for two years before he agreed to marry her.
    After she had three kids, her husband had to talk her out of being a stay-at-home mom.
    She's shilled for Amana appliances.
    She acted in 30 Perry Mason TV movies, including four after star Raymond Burr had died.

    She was voted May Queen her senior year in high school.
    She named one of her children Juanita after her only sibling.
    Once they met she remained lifelong friends with co-star Raymond Burr, who refused to make any Perry Mason TV movies without her.
    She drew many sketches on the Perry Mason set and gave them to cast members and co-workers.
    Burr cultivated an orchid and name it the Barbara Hale Orchid.
    She co-starred with her son in a 1982 episode of 'The Greatest American Hero.'
    She is a cancer survivor.
    She was married to her husband for 46 years until his death from brain cancer in 1992.
    She has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
