Though the finished 'fixer uppers' are decorated with new furniture, their clients don't actually get to keep the furniture.
Many homes renovated for the show were eventually rented out with jacked-up pricing.

They bought a property with abandoned silos in downtown Waco and converted it to their offices and a popular retail attraction.
They made Waco famous for something other than David Koresh or Baylor University athlete scandals.
