Recurring role as J.H. Brodie in Homicide: Life on the Street (1995-97)

Why he might be annoying:

He dropped out of high school.
He usually plays twitchy, nervous characters.
He was arrested on weapon and marijuana possession charges after he twice fired a gun into the air during a dispute with his neighbor over a parking space (1996).
As a result of the arrest, he was let go from 'Homicide' at the end of the season.

He is left handed.
He won an Independent Spirit Award for 'Drugstore Cowboy.'
He appeared in videos for 'No Excuses' by Alice in Chains and 'Naked Eye' by Luscious Jackson.
The drug and weapon charges were dismissed when a judge ruled police should have gotten a search warrant (1997).
