    Lectured at Columbia University
    He praised Lenny Bruce as a comedic genius.
    He testified on Lennon's behalf when the album 'Two Virgins' was seized by US customs as obscene (1968).
    In a 'Saturday Night Live' sketch, Phil Hartman portrayed Goldman as the trombone playing fifth Beatle who was fired from the group by Lennon at Elvis's urging.
