Quarterback/halfback for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1938), Washington Redskins (1938-41, 1944-45), New York Giants (1946), Hamilton Tigers (1947-48), Montreal Alouettes (1949-50), Baltimore Colts (1950), Edmonton Eskimos (1951-52) and the Saskatchewan Roughriders (1953)
Head coach for the Edmonton Eskimos (1952), Saskatchewan Roughriders (1953-57), Sarnia Golden Bears (1958), Calgary Stampeders (1959) and the Denver Broncos (1960-61)

Why he might be annoying:

He played on eight different teams between two different leagues combined.
His nickname during his career was 'Flingin' Frank.'
His NFL career nearly ended after he was rumored to be associated with gamblers, who offered him and several Giants teammates a substantial amount of money to throw the NFL Championship game (1946).
He was suspended from the NFL for three years as a result.
He was fired by the Eskimos following the Grey Cup game, after he asked to be paid more money (1952).

He threw the first 99 yard touchdown pass in NFL history.
He served in the United States Naval Reserve for two years.
He was credited with being the first player in Giants history to sign a multi-year contract with the team.
He was the first high profile football player to play in the Canadian Football League.
