Why they might be annoying:

Surprisingly, they list Ray Charles as an inspiration.
    They smoke.
They come by their just-out-of-bed hair honestly; sometimes it draws comparisons to Albert Einstein!
‘Writing in German… seems very impossible because it’s a very rough sounding language. It’s hard… to express what I want to.’ (Was???!!!)
While they care little about how meaningless their moniker is, they admit that ‘Milky Chance is not the best name.’

Why they might not be annoying:

Less surprisingly, they list Bob Marley and Django Reinhardt as inspirations.
They do not believe in using complex multi-layered equipment.
Following two live shows, they made ‘Sadnecessary’ in a simple self-made studio where Rehbein lived as a child.
They chose Jimmy Kimmel Live for their television debut (2014).
Through a partnership with Levi’s (yeah, the jeans company), they would build a music school in their hometown of Kassel (‘it’s not supposed to be the Milky Chance studio factory; it’s just a place where people can go’).
