His birth date is sometimes listed as 1883, 1884 or 1888.
No one knows the exact date he was born.
Despite having success as a barber, he choose to work for Mafia honcho Al Capone.
He helped to supply stolen alcohol to speakeasies during Prohibition.
He did jail time in the 1930's for tax evasion.
He intimidated and threatened witnesses to his crimes from testifying.
He committed suicide.
He was inaccurately portrayed on the TV show 'The Untouchables.'
He was also inaccurately portrayed in the movie version of 'The Untouchables.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He had excellent organizational skills.
He attempted and failed to gain control of a theatrical actors' union.
He was shot three times, taking the fall for Capone.
He committed suicide because he was afraid of going back to jail.
