Why he might be annoying:

    Despite accomplishing various accolades, many pundits fail to acknowledge his career.
    He quit hockey during his prime citing he could not handle the stress.
    As the Canadiens captain, he frequently would leave his crease to argue calls.
    Following this, the NHL and IIHF came up with a policy that prohibited goaltenders from physically wearing the 'C' on their jerseys.
    The Hockey News once referred to him as being 'the greatest player which you never hear about.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was an ambidextrous goaltender.
    He was the first goaltender to win four consecutive Vezina Trophy awards.
    He backstopped the Canadiens to two titles in his first three seasons between the pipes.
    He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame (1964).
    Prior to Roberto Luongo's appointment as team captain, he was the last goaltender captain in NHL history.
