    Had recurring role in sitcom ‘Our Miss Brooks’ (1952-58)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was credited under several other names including Rhubarb, Neutron and Minerva.
    Because of his temperamental feline nature, he sometimes had up to 36 doubles.
    His appearance in some of his credited work has been disputed.
    His ashes (along with Benji's and Arnold Ziffel's) were mixed in and buried with his trainer’s cremains.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a rescue cat.
    He frequently stole scenes from his human costars, even Audrey Hepburn.
    He won two Patsy awards, the animal actor’s Oscar.
    He is probably the best known cat movie star of all time.
