    Wrote 'Born Free,' 'Living Free,' 'Elsa,' 'Forever Free,' 'Born Free: A Lioness of Two Worlds,' 'Spotted Sphinx,' 'Pippa's Challenge,' 'Peoples of Kenya' and 'Queen of Shaba: The Story of an African Leopard'
    Best known for her books and the films depicting her work in Kenya, Africa with Elsa the Lioness
    Two of her books were adapted into movies; 'Born Free (1966)' and 'Living Free (1972)'

Why he might be annoying:

    She was born into a wealthy family, yet preferred 'roughing it.'
    She took a long time before she finally decided to be a conservationist.
    She dabbled with becoming a concert pianist, dressmaking, bookbinding and drawing, and pursued an interest in archaeology.
    She married her first husband in 1935, then divorced him in 1937 when she met a botanist, whom she married in 1938.
    She divorced him several years later to marry her third husband George Adamson in 1944.
    She separated from him in 1970, yet spent Christmas with him until her death.
    The two movies and the short lived TV series 'Born Free (1974)' were played by three different actresses, all exceptionally more attractive than her.
    Her death in a Kenyan game preserve was at first attributed to a lion mauling, but later ruled a homicide.

Why he might not be annoying:

    She used her fame to show the plight of wild animals around the world.
    She pledged all earnings from her books to wildlife preservation.
    Many zoos responded to Elsa's story by creating more humane conditions for animals, such as larger outdoor habitats.
    She launched the World Wildlife Fund in the United States (1962).
    She was stabbed to death in her tent by a former employee who was found guilty of her murder (1980).
    Her estranged husband was shot and killed by poachers in Kenya 9 years later (1989).
    Andy Williams had a big hit with the title track from the 'Born Free' movie.
