Why he might be annoying:

During his bachelor days, he was called the only Senator who was a bad influence on Ted Kennedy.
He and Kennedy formed a 'human sandwich' with a waitress in a DC restaurant (1985).
He got into a food fight with Rep. Harold Ford, Sr., at a Memphis Dunkin' Donuts (1978).
He received more money from Arthur Andersen than any other Democratic Senator while writing legislation to exempt accounting firms like Arthur Anderson from liability in fraud cases.
He was one of only 16 Senators to vote against the Vitter Amendment banning the confiscation of legally-owned firearms during a disaster.
He calls his iPod 'the Dodd Pod.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He dated Carrie Fisher.
He served with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic (1966-68).
He sponsored the Family and Medical Leave Act.
He co-sponsored the Restoring the Constitution Act of 2007 to restore habeas corpus rights, ban the use of evidence gained through torture and reinstate US adherence to the Geneva Conventions.
Rather than form an exploratory committee like other presidential candidates, he decided to 'plunge right in.'
