    (1955- )
    Born in Kanab, Utah
Founded Cayman Chemicals (1980) and Maxey Cosmetics (2007)
Chair of the Board of Directors of the Donor Sibling Registry (2006-09)
    Incredibly prolific sperm donor
His first wife was a nurse at a fertility clinic who suggested he supplement their income by becoming a sperm donor.
He proceeded to give of himself twice a week for fourteen years, totaling over a thousand donations.
He said his attitude at the time was that he 'didn't think about it a lot.'
When two of the daughters conceived from his sperm contacted him (2006), he began to think about it a lot, did some calculations and realized he may have fathered over 400 kids.
He noted about the implications for his son (that is, the son conceived traditionally with his second wife), 'I have to tell him there are an awful lot of your brothers and sisters that you don't know and I don't know.'
Some of his 400+ kids, having no idea how prolific their dad was, may end up dating each other.
He founded a biomedical research company while still in med school.
He was a popular donor at the fertility clinic because his sperm had a high success rate at impregnating their clients.
He volunteered to have his genome mapped and put online to inform his offspring of any potential genetic problems.
Fortunately, the worst thing found so far is a 1.9% increased risk of coronary heart disease.
He has called for stricter regulation of sperm banks.
