TV Personality
    (November 6, 1943-March 11, 2012)
Born in Melbourne, Victoria , Australia
Television personality best known for presenting the Australian version of The Price is Right (1981-86)
    Died of throat cancer
He did a commercial for 'wait for it...wait for it…erectile dysfunction!’
However, Australian Consumer Commission took legal action against him for falsely claiming that he was impotent and using the treatment as he described in the advertisement (2004).
After the 'Price is Right,' he went on to be presenter for a number of short-lived game shows.
He appeared in commercials and infomercials.
He pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of alcohol and had his (later overturned) license suspended for six months (2005).
    He smoked.
    He liked to gamble.
He had a likable and charismatic on air persona and was said to have been the same off screen.
He was Olivia Newton-John’s first boyfriend.
He dedicated a lot of time for charities benefiting children like the Royal Children’s Hospital and the Make A Wish Foundation.
As a result for his charity work, his six month license suspension was overturned.
In the 90s, he developed cult status following a regular appearance on Roy & HG's 'Club Buggery,' where he performed renditions of songs like 'Time Warp' from 'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' and Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ (playing his own instruments, too).
In his later years, he was a regular on the funny and often politically incorrect TV series 'Pizza' and it’s spin offs 'Swift and Shift Couriers' and 'Housos'.
He was married to his wife for 44 years until his death (not surprising since, even in his sixties, he didn't need erectile treatment).
